The more you nurture a feeling of kindness, the happier and calmer you will be.
— Dalai Lama
Hey Bear Coaching is dedicated to the idea that taking some intentional time to be a kind, self-aware person gives you a better shot at health and happiness in this life. It also makes it more likely that you seed health and happiness for people around you—especially when you inhabit positions of power.
The People I Work with Share this Vision.
I believe public servants deserve and need intentional coaching support at every developmental stage of their career. The lessons we learn at the start can become rigid stories that we don’t change, even when the situation demands it, or ones that impose on others. No one should get a coach for the first time when they are an executive. And because I also believe that these stories get stored in us somatically, it is key that public servants develop body awareness and strong health habits. I can help you develop this awareness.
A healthier, kinder, happier cohort of people making the world a better place
A world with healthy, well-rounded public servants who model self-awareness and good management behaviors
A progressive civic society that practices the values it espouses in public policy, particularly equity and empathy
Figure out the next right thing to do.
Hey Bear Coaching is for Public Servants.
